What is KBI Flexi®-Pave made of?
Rubber, stone, and KBI’s proprietary binding agent. We can install Flexi Pave quickly and efficiently fo a multitude of applications.
As the product weathers, can it be re-colored?
It does not weather like most materials but yes it can be repainted if necessary. Our paint coatings are durometer matched to our product to prevent lifting and chipping of surface colored installations.
Is there a warranty for the Flexi-Pave playground surfacing products?
We have a one-year standard warranty for all KBI Flexi-Pave installations and also provide extended warranties for maintenance and porosity.
What is the lifespan of the Flexi-Pave playground surfacing products?
KBI Flexi®-Pave if maintained and without mechanical damage can be a lifetime product.
Is KBI Flexi®-Pave porous?
Yes. The products are manufactured using a nominal 3/8” rubber granule, which enables fast evacuation of water through its thickness because of the “open-pore” design. KBI Flexi®-Pave is capable of handling 4,000 inches of water per hour.
